Glacier hiking offers a more adventurous spin on traditional hiking and can be done on every continent except for Australia. Whether you love nature, a physical challenge, or simply being outdoors, glacier hiking is a great way to feed your sense of adventure.

The sheer scale, beauty, and uniqueness of glaciers make the experience of hiking on them unforgettable. It’s an activity that often takes you out of your comfort zone and can provide a sense of accomplishment. Glacier hiking usually involves using specialised equipment and often requires exhilarating transport to reach them such scenic helicopter rides.

So now that I’ve piqued your interest, you may be asking where to start searching for glacier hiking experiences. My answer would be to start in New Zealand. While Australia may not have any glaciers, its neighbour has numerous that are “Sweet as, bru!”

One of my recent adventures was to the dynamic metropolis of Seoul in South Korea — a bustling city that not only holds a strong presence in Asia but also in the rest of the world. To date, this influence is largely due to Seoul’s cutting-edge technology, a strong economy, and vibrant culture (I’m sure that a majority of you have encountered K-pop, K-dramas, Korean cosmetics, and Korean food among many others at least once in your life!)

Mexico is a great place to visit, with great beaches, tasty food and friendly people. Despite some misconceptions, Mexico isn’t a dangerous country, but like in any other touristy destination, the presence of scammers is unavoidable.

Some shady people take advantage of clueless tourists, who might not even realize what’s happened to them.

Everyone can be caught off guard and get ripped off on their holidays, but don’t freak out yet. Despite preconceived assumptions, most scams are more annoying than life-threatening. This is why I decided to give you some more Mexico travel tips by showing a few common scams in Mexico & how to avoid them as part of

Italy is a must-visit country and is one of the most-traveled destinations in Europe. There are so many highlights in this beautiful country — from the canals of Venice to the Tuscan wine lands to the cobblestone streets of Rome to the Arno river running through Florence to the cliffs of Positano… and beyond.

Florence was one of my favorite cities because of the architecture and natural beauty— the sun setting over the Arno River is something you can’t soon forget.

Rome is one of the most iconic and most traveled cities in Europe and you could spend days getting lost in this magnificent destination. The most picturesque spots in Italy might just be Cinque Terre and all the stops along the Amalfi Coast. Positano is the gem of the Amalfi Coast and is arguably the most picturesque and most romantic town in the whole of Italy—here are the best things to do on the Amalfi Coast!

I’ve managed to travel to all 7 continents now, and from all of my adventures, one of the countries that I will never get tired of revisiting multiple times would be Japan! (Japan Itinerary)

As a timeless destination, I am forever enamored by Japan’s ancient traditions that are perfectly fused with its vibrant modernity. Not to mention the lush nature and exquisite cuisine that it has and I’m sure that I’ll still barely ‘scratch the surface‘ even if I spend my life exploring it in its entirety.

With that said, it does seem daunting to whip up a Japan itinerary — but then again, not really! The country may be vast but it’s totally possible to make the most of it with whatever time you have.

Iceland is a magical place. It’s the land of sheep, northern lights, volcanoes with unpronounceable names (try saying “Eyjafjallajökull”), rugged landscapes, waterfalls, mountains, and natural hot springs. Its stunning, scenic landscape feels out of this world.

Iceland quickly became one of my favorite countries after my first visit. It’s such a beautiful island filled with warm, welcoming people and sweeping vistas you won’t find anywhere else in the world. I have relished every subsequent visit to the country.

However, Iceland is expensive.

Traveling here on a budget is difficult as Iceland is definitely not a cheap country (and the growing influx of tourists is only increasing prices further).

Fortunately, it is possible to see a lot without going broke if you plan ahead. You won’t be living large if you’re here to backpack, but Iceland is worth the expense.

This travel guide to Iceland can help you plan your trip and see the sights without breaking the bank!

One of our favorite experiences in life has been to travel to Mozambique. It’s thought we’ve had plenty of time to think about as every person loves to ask us what our favorite country is once they learn we’ve been to nearly a hundred countries.

When we set out to travel Mozambique after South Africa and Swaziland we were unsure of what was in store. After a month in the country, it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made in Africa. Traveling to Mozambique brings back some of our favorite travel memories ever.

Sure, there is police and governmental corruption, a small rebel army, economic uncertainty, poor roads, slowly improving infrastructure, a high and confusing visa process, and crumbling transportation options – it does not sound appealing to most visitors.

However, Mozambique brings something much more to the table that any adventurous soul will come to love. After a few weeks in Mozambique, it remains one of the top places we can’t wait to return to someday.

Every day I dream of empty beaches and delicious seafood on the African coast. If you’re thinking about traveling to Mozambique on your own and if you have made a very wise decision, here are some things to note based on our personal travel experiences.

Turkey has been one of the most popular options for a holiday package over the last few years. However, you might not want to buy an expensive holiday package and instead pursue a road trip around Turkey on your own by creating your own Turkey itinerary.

Don’t worry if you don’t have much time, as I’ve seen the most popular spots in the country in just 10 days. Here I can tell you how you can do it yourself. I’ve done it a few times and let me tell you that it’s perfectly safe:

When booking your flights to Turkey you might consider getting to Cappadocia first and returning from Istanbul, instead of getting a return flight to Istanbul (alternatively booking a domestic flight separately). Arranging your trip this way can save you a lot of time on driving.

Marrakesh is a beautiful city in Morocco. The “Rose City” or “Red City” offers visitors an enchanting taste of old world charm and opulence. Here are some of the best things to do in Marrakesh.

Many travelers who visit Morocco spend at least a few days in Marrakesh, before moving on to other parts of the country. And there’s a lot to see in the city.

Marrakesh (sometimes spelled Marrakech) is without a doubt one of the most exciting destinations in Northern Africa. The city has been an important trading hub for centuries and inside the walled Old City Medina, you’ll find a maze of lively markets and a myriad of busy alleyways – a true feast for the senses.

There are smells, colors, flavors, sounds and textures to be devoured, and even though the hectic heart of the city can feel both enticing and overwhelming at the same time, there are places where you’ll be able to enjoy moments of calm, such as the riad hotels, and several parks.

The city’s bustling souks, theatrical street vendors, and mesmerizing performers are attractions in itself, but don’t ignore the palaces, the mosques, and the food – here are my top picks for the best things to do in Marrakesh.

When a tourist says ‘I’m going to Lebanon’, other people will usually consider it brave. When I was heading to Lebanon, my friends kept saying things like ‘stay safe’, ‘be careful’.

We love Prague. It's magical, super gay, and absolutely stunning. It makes for the ideal weekend city break with plenty of fun guaranteed!

For us, Prague definitely ranks as one of our top destinations in Europe as well as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It's super unique, with its striking Gothic architecture, magnificent medieval monuments, like something from a fairy tale. It's no wonder that it's one of the most visited cities in the world.

Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic, a former Soviet-influenced country in Central Europe, now part of the EU. The country is so rich with culture that you can never get bored exploring it. To give you a brief idea, its history date back to the 9th century when it used to be called ‘The Duchy of Bohemia' under the Great Moravian Empire. It was around this time that Prague Castle was built, one of Prague's most famous tourist sites. In addition, most of the beautiful and picturesque medieval buildings of the Old Town, like “Charles Bridge” were subsequently built in the 1300s by the Holy Roman Emperor, Charles IV. There's a lot to see here, which we've summarised below, but make sure you also give yourself ample time to check out the dynamic gay nightlife of Prague.

These are the best things to do during a layover in El Salvador, rather than staying inside the airport.

The first question we asked our guide, Moises, was why El Salvador is considered one of the most dangerous countries in the world. We'll never forget his candid response: “…it's because once you come here you’ll never want to leave!!”

Whilst this small country in Central America does suffer from gang violence, for most tourists visiting, you're unlikely to ever encounter any problems.

We had a long 6 hours layover at San Salvador airport, so we decided to venture out to see the country. The reports about how dangerous El Salvador is did make us worry for our safety, so we decided to search for a reputable tour company and do a layover tour with them. We found Salvadorean Tours on Tripadvisor and chose them because of all their excellent reviews.

The semi-autonomous trading province of Hong Kong is world famous as a big, gleaming metropolis. It’s a Mecca of high-rise buildings and bustling streets. In fact you could easily be fooled into thinking this region was simply a city and nothing more. But you’d be wrong…

With its skyscrapers vs. sea and mountains outlook, hiking in Hong Kong is more natural than you’d think. The undeveloped, hilly terrain hugging high-rises, makes hikes here exciting, challenging, and they come with the bonus of awe-inspiring views of the city sprawl.

In a region that’s more known for night markets and rooftop bars, the hiking scene here is underrated. Lucky for you, because that (often) means uncrowded trails.

Like anywhere in the world, you’ll need to be prepared on any of its trails. But it’s totally worth it. As long as you have the right knowledge and kit, you’ll have the most unforgettable trip ever.

To help you out we’ve created this handy guide to hiking in Hong Kong, listing the best hikes, how to get to them, what to take with you, and more. Let’s get hiking!

We’ve spent a number of days exploring the attractions of the Entebbe area on various trips to Uganda, and we’ve put together this guide to help you plan what to see and do here.

Entebbe was the former seat of government, but after independence this moved to nearby Kampala. Entebbe itself is fairly spread out with few tall buildings, and has quite a tropical laid-back style. It is hard to imagine it was the seat of government, especially when you compare it to Kampala with its tall buildings and crazy traffic!
